TEDxTechnion

We are looking for rockstar speakers for the next TEDxTechnion! TEDxTechnion is an independently organized TED event, held on June 18th, 2020 at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

 

TEDxTechnion is a half-day event that includes, among others, Technion faculty members, students, alumni, and key industry collaborators. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused, and on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning, inspiration and wonder – and provoke conversations that matter.

 

Upon acceptance to talk at this event, your talk would be filmed and edited and will be hosted on the TEDx YouTube channel. Your talk could be up to 18 minutes (in English), on any theme(s) or topic(s) you are interested in. Please note that your talk could not be related to a specific product or company.

 

Just as with all speakers, we would work together ahead of time to craft the talk. Please prepare for the following professional training and rehearsal sessions starting late March:

(a) A group professional training session; to be held on March 27th, 9:00-15:00, at the Technion.

(b) Personal professional training sessions; to be scheduled personally upon acceptance (in Tel Aviv or at the Technion).

(c) A group rehearsal; to be held on June 12th, at the Technion.

(d) A final rehearsal; to be held on June 18th, at the Technion.

 

The professional training program is mandatory for all TEDxTechnion presenters. Please make sure you can participate in all sessions and rehearsals before applying. If you have any questions regarding the professional training program, please do not hesitate to contact us!

We accept applications by March 1st, 2020. Acceptance notifications will be sent by mid March.
